The Club School of Water Sports, located in Puerto Williams, is the southernmost nautical school in the world and the closest to the mythical Cape Horn.

Great nautical feats
Cape Horn Discovery
This remote and enigmatic place was discovered on January 29, 1616 by Willem Schouten and Jacob Le Maire, two steel-made Dutch men who baptized the rock in honor of the city of the Netherlands from where they set sail in June 1615.

Rescue of crew on Elephant Island
In 2016 it was a hundred years since Sir Ernest Shackleton, the most legendary polar explorer of all time, with the help of the 2nd pilot of the Chilean Navy, Luis Pardo Villarón, rescued his men on the remote Elefante Island. The Trans-Antarctic Imperial Expedition turned around the world.
